I could meet girls every day. I mean I do, and I can continue to, unto infinity. I mean guys are fine, but they only come in three varieties: assholes, makemelaughs, and nice but boring. But girls are other beings altogether, they are complex, they are crazy, they are puzzles to be filled in and they always force mistakes and do overs and don't you hate it when you lose a piece? You'll find it eventually.
When I was a toddler I thought all cats were girls and all dogs were guys. It holds up. Cats own this world and we are their foot servants. Not only that but no two cats are the same, live with them long enough and learn their ticks, learn their motivations, learn their purr and learn their cries.
I don't understand bigots and chauvinists, wifebeaters and rapists. I only wonder how I can adore women even more. For their smile that is only given to me I'll be fine for a week. They are like my fuel tanks and without them I would fall asleep and not care to awake. I only feel bad that my base analogies can not further create them into goddesses.
They're fun to look at, fun to talk to, fun to play with, and fun to figure out. It's like that post somewhere about learning a nation, only a nation can't love you back as much as a really pretty girl. And maybe there is a reason countries are only ever referred to as motherlands (well, isn't Germany the fatherland?) Because they're the better lovers and we are the unworthy foot soldiers.
It's their eyes that get me, just like those unblinking cats. That they have such power over those two almost pulsing gems to make me quiver and shake and fall and run to the nearest flower stand for a harvest bouquet. But pull myself together because there are these games to play first and I know the rules and how to break them and how to win and the secret is the eyes and the way we learn to talk with them and I'm pretty sure it's inside those eyes that their beauty exists, where they are true, and if a girl doesn't have them mine are already searching for the next. And I may or may not be master of the puppy dog's.
