I've just been handed tickets to hear Alexander Toradze--Friday night!!
Usually I learn something about the pieces before I attend and listen to them so I know what to expect.
Between now and Friday the best research I'm going to be able to do is whatever's on Wikipedia.
Any insights? Anything I just have to know or watch for with these pieces?
Janacek:
Suite from The Cunning Little Vixen
Prokofiev:
Piano Concerto No. 5 in G major, Op. 55
Mussorgsky:
Pictures at an Exhibition (arr. by Ravel)
Thank you.
