I need advice or just the world view or perspective of others. I have 3 suitors. Pretend, if you will, that each relationship
has a single feature that is most prominent, as follows:
Brain: Intellectually
stimulating; a continuous, free-flowing exchange of ideas, thoughts, experience;
something akin to “mind sex”
Brawn: Physical, sexual attraction and compatibility; athletic
orientation
Romance: Loving, supportive; places my needs before his own
(think “treats me like a princess”)
It has been my experience that there is no “perfect” mate;
that, at some point, we all make concessions and choose a mate that, although “imperfect,”
satisfies some or most of our basic needs.
Yet, all of these features are important to me: intellect, sexual compatibility, and love and romance.
Assume I care for each man equally. Which relationship should I nurture? Which relationship should be allowed to “die
on the vine?”
