Occupy the Internet
THINQon is a platform for a more intelligent web. It aims to replace the ruling paradigm of the web – that of sharing and gathering information – with a sharing and achieving of understanding. Instead of the Q&A model it offers an experience. A platform for discovery of ideas, people, and yourself.     Continue >
Freeganism
Has anyone heard of freegans?

It's a cool concept, I guess another crazy offshoot of the green movement. They advocate dumpster diving and discourage waste of any kind. I guess its a sort of throwback to Native Americans who used every part of the whole. It seems like for the most part (in the United States at least) there are only freegan communities springing up in New York and California. My friend from Brooklyn was telling me how where she is they host build-your-own bike workshops and dumpster-diving tours on a weekly basis. There are also free sewing and knitting classes as well as urban foraging for edible plants.

There is also this thing called freecycle.org. They are all over the place and you just join and everyday people post things they have to offer for free.

All in all, just sounds like good vibes
I wouldn't care to dumpster dive, but I've given away a lot of stuff via freecycling.
