What makes people think 2 people look alike? "You look exactly like Sandra Bullock!" Or as they used to say that all Asians look alike for westerners - I doubt that's still the case, it's so nice how that's changed.
Some people tend to be more amenable to having look-alikes. You rarely hear: "You look like Michelle Pfeiffer" but you do hear a lot of "You look like Julia Roberts." What do people compare?
The reason I'm thinking of this is that I just read a weird newspaper article asking to see the difference between these two completely identical women:

Do these women seem even in the slightest similar to you? Yes, they are thin, they are wearing a bikini, they what else? They have hair? What can seem so similar to this person? The sad thing is it seems to me that the only similarity is both being thin women, and they just all look alike.
(Ps. the women are Rosie Huntington Whiteley who got a role in the upcoming Transformers 3, and Bar Rafelli.)
