Motivation to eat healthy
I thought it might be helpful to compile a list of foods to motivate people who want to eat healthy. I love eating. Foods of all types and any type. But to eat healthy requires a conscious decision to stay away from things we know will hurt in the long run. Here are a few of my favorites that are also quite cheap. I would love to hear your favorite and add to my repertoire, because variety is the best healthy food choice of all. As long as I'm trying new types of healthy foods I don't mind staying away from the junk.

Raisins

Hummus and Cucumbers

Trail Mix

Yogurt and Granola

Fruit fruit fruit
* this is the best encouragement to eat healthy. Especially in the summer when all the good ones are on sale everywhere and taste great. Peaches and nectarines are filling and delicious and not guilt-inducing.

Those are all mostly snacks. Does anyone have some nice healthy meals? Bonus points for easily accessible. Falafel is a go-to of mine but I'm getting tired of it.
It's tomato season and there's nothing like a sun ripened tomato still a little bit warm with the dusty smell of the vine.

I also like popcorn. Some people think it's healthy. Although I just learned bunnies may be compromised.
Sangria! (well, there is a lot of fruit, and wine in small amounts is as we know very healthy)
Pomegranates
Very ripe watermelon
Vegetables on the grill, slightly blackened around the edges
Omelettes or frittatas with a spoon full of fresh cream
Stew made with deep, thick stock and simmered for hours...
A spoonful of mountain honey in green tea
Blueberries
Strawberries
Carrots
Ants on a log (raisins peanutbutter on celery)
bananas and cocunut
