Does MAD still work? At one time, between the US and the former Soviet Union there was reported to have been enough operational nuclear devices to extinguish at least all urban humans multiple times over. Perhaps that was, and yet may be the case. Some how we have all become used to this.So I guess MAD does work. Iran, North Korea, hell maybe even Huey Long's Louisiana, give them all the bomb.  Other concerns intervene. Facing this, how are we to be?
