“My child, he who listens must perceive the same as he who speaks, share his awareness; he must breathe together with him, share the same spirit; his hearing must be sharper than the voice of he who speaks.”  Nag Hamadi Texts.

The energy I exchange to acquire currency for food, shelter and clothing is to listen and to resolve.  Coming across this statement undercut my deluded pride.

I recognized I was more adept at consistently repeating what I wanted communicated even as I wore the guise of hearing.

What if I approached listening from this point of view?  How would I do this?

How would exchanges, relating then be experienced?
