Trivia question: multiple senses
Trivia question of the day: what English word has the most definitions?

This came up in the course of thinking what conditions on a word would lead to this kind of multiplicity of uses.
The dual meaning of the verb "to be" is the mistake that created western philosophy, according to some people.
I can't come up with good words to try. Would you like to elaborate? What are those conditions? That is a much more interesting question than simply what is the specific word?
One condition, which is besides the point here, is the richness the language. The barer the language, the more meaning each word carries. But your question was for inside a specific language.
