A very interesting article on what's behind the Bandwidth caps on internet usage attempted to be enforced by the cable companies (in the US).
Spoiler - it's about TV. As people move to watch TV on the internet, and mostly HD content, putting bandwidth caps essentially promises the cable companies to continue to earn a lot of money from TV. He claims/explains, convincingly, how the entire discussion of bit torrents is all a smoke screen.
